How it works

From one call to someone starting, in about 21 days.

Seven steps, with nothing buried in the middle of them. Two are yours: the intake call and the interviews. Money changes hands at exactly one of the seven, and only if you hire someone.

Step by step

The whole process, and what each step asks of you

Sourcing, all 6 vetting stages, the shortlist, your interviews and every replacement inside the window are free. Step six is the only one with an invoice attached to it.

  1. You tell us the role

A short intake call. We scope the actual job, not the job title: the level, the hours and the time-zone overlap you need, the tools the person will live in, and what a good first ninety days would look like.

What we need from youPut whoever really knows the role on the call: the partner, the account director, the ops manager. A short conversation with them beats a written brief from anyone else.

  2. We source

We search our pool of 100k+ candidates across Philippines, Pakistan, South Africa, Kenya, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Costa Rica, Venezuela and Argentina, then go out and find people the pool doesn't already cover. This is the part you would otherwise be doing at 11pm.

What we need from youNothing, except telling us early if the brief changes. Re-scoping on day two is free; on day eight it costs a week.

  3. We vet, all 6 stages

Every candidate goes through 6 stages before you ever see them. Roughly the top 1% of applicants come out the other side.

What we need from youNothing, though if you have a task or scenario you want candidates tested on, send it and we will use it.

  4. You get a shortlist

Within 6–10 business days of the intake call, you get a short list of people who have cleared every stage. Not a stack of résumés for you to filter. If nobody on it is right, we say so and keep looking.

What we need from youRead it within a day or two. Good candidates are interviewing elsewhere, and the one thing we cannot control is how long you sit on the list.

  5. You interview

You talk to the people you want to talk to, ask what you want to ask, and make your own call. We are not in the room and we do not push a favourite.

What we need from youInterview like it is a local hire. Ask about written communication, and about how they get themselves unblocked across a time-zone gap. That is where offshore hires actually succeed or fail.

  6. You hire, and only now do you pay $1,997

One flat fee, whatever the role and whatever the salary. There is no fee to talk to us, no fee for the shortlist, and no retainer. If you do not hire, you owe nothing.

What we need from youYou employ the person directly and pay their salary yourself. We do not run payroll, tax or compliance, and we take no cut of the salary. Say the word and we will point you at an employer-of-record or payroll provider our clients already use.

  7. Then 90 days of cover

If the hire is not right within 90 days of their start date, we run the search again at no additional cost, as many times as it takes. No cap on replacements and no second fee.

What we need from youTell us early when something is off. A fit problem named in week two is a replacement; the same problem named in month four is a rehire you pay for.

Step three, in detail

What the 6 stages actually test

Vetting is the product. Everything else is logistics. The stages cover:

  • English fluency, tested in conversation rather than self-reported
  • Role-specific skills assessed on the actual tools, not the résumé's tool list
  • Work history and references verified
  • A culture and communication screen, including DISC

A candidate who lists a tool has to demonstrate it. That is the single most useful thing we do, and it is why roughly the top 1% of applicants reach a client.

What we are not

The parts we deliberately do not touch

We are a recruiter, not a staffing agency and not an employer of record. The candidate works for you, not for us. Concretely:

  • No monthly markup
  • No percentage of salary
  • No payroll
  • No tax or compliance
  • No retainer

You employ and pay the person directly. That is a large part of why a flat fee works at all, and it does mean the paperwork of employing someone abroad is yours. We will point you at providers our clients already use, but we will not pretend to do it for you.

Start with the call. Everything else follows from it.

Tell us the role and we will come back with a shortlist in 6–10 business days. If nobody on it is right, you do not pay.

Get a shortlist

About a minute to fill in, then a 30 minute intake call. If nobody on the shortlist is right, we keep looking or we part ways, and you have spent nothing but the interview time.

The fee

$1,997 flat

Every role. No percentage of salary, no monthly markup.

When you pay

Only on hire

Invoiced the day a candidate accepts your offer.

If it doesn't work

90 days

Unlimited free replacements for 90 days, counted from their first day.
