You already paid for that call. Somebody has to answer it.
Marketing spend gets a homeowner to dial your number; what happens on that call decides whether the job goes on your board or the next company's. We place appointment setters and CSRs who work your hours, qualify the caller, and book the slot in ServiceTitan or Housecall Pro rather than leaving a message for someone to deal with later.

What people tell us before they call
The lead is paid for whether or not anyone picks up
You bought that call: through search, through Local Services, through the wrap on the truck. If it rings out at ten to six or lands in a voicemail box, you have paid for a job that somebody else books.
Office headcount comes straight out of job margin
A US customer support rep costs about $5,220 a month to employ and an appointment setter about $4,130. That is money not going into a truck, a tech, or next month's lead spend.
You're on a job site, not at a desk running interviews
Writing the posting, screening applicants and running first-round calls is a job of its own, and it competes directly with the one that pays. That part is ours.
What these roles cost, side by side
The roles we place most often for home services. US figures are what the same seat typically costs to employ domestically.
| Role | US cost to employ | Through Bionic | You save |

US figures are what the seat costs an employer, not what the person is paid: base pay plus payroll taxes and benefits, at the 1.40 times base pay that the US Bureau of Labor Statistics publishes for private-sector employers. Divide by 1.40 to get back to the base salary. The Bionic figure is the salary you pay your hire directly, and it carries none of that load. So the two columns are not the same measure: one is a total cost to employ, the other is a salary. You employ the person directly and pay them yourself, and we never touch that money. Our own fee is $1,997, once, and only if you hire.
Vetted for this work specifically
Calls answered, jobs on the board
Appointment setters and CSRs vetted on ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber and FieldPulse. They qualify the caller, check the schedule and book the slot. A message on a notepad is not the job.
What the seat costs
A US CSR runs about $5,220 a month to employ. The same coverage starts at $900, paid by you straight to the hire. We never take a cut of it and never add a monthly markup.
Cover the season without carrying it all year
Add setters before spring without committing to a US salary through the slow months. When you need a second one in July it is the same flat fee and the same search.
One fee, and only if you hire
$1,997 once, invoiced on offer acceptance. Until then the search costs nothing: sourcing, 6 stages of vetting, and a shortlist you can turn down without owing us a dollar. If nobody is right we keep looking. Replacements are free and unlimited for 90 days from their start date.
The software we test against
Tool proficiency on a résumé has to survive an actual test. For home services, that means the software below, assessed during vetting rather than taken on trust. Roughly the top 1% of applicants clear all 6 stages.

Home Services, specifically
Do your candidates know ServiceTitan or Housecall Pro?
Yes. We vet for the home services stack: ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber and FieldPulse. Many candidates have worked with US home services companies before.
Can they handle phone calls and unhappy customers?
Yes. We test spoken English, tone, and de-escalation during vetting. Representing your brand on the phone is the job, so it is part of the assessment rather than something you find out about in week two.
What about time zone coverage?
Candidates work your hours, whether that's 8–5 Eastern, Central, Mountain or Pacific. You set the required overlap during intake and we only shortlist people who can hold it.
How fast can I get an appointment setter?
Shortlist in 6–10 business days from the intake call, and about 21 days to someone starting.
What does it cost?
$1,997 one time, on hire, plus the salary you pay the hire directly. That salary starts at $900 a month for a virtual assistant and $1,000 for an appointment setter. No monthly markup and no ongoing agency fee.
Start the search. Decide later whether to hire.
A short intake call, then a shortlist of people who have already passed six stages of vetting.
About a minute to fill in, then a 30 minute intake call. If nobody on the shortlist is right, we keep looking or we part ways, and you have spent nothing but the interview time.
